Content Marketing idea for Clarks
Written by: Karl Janiec
I feel like because Clarks is on the losing side of the past
few posts, they could use some help with the content marketing aspect of their
brand! By no means am I an expert, but I have a few ideas that I think could be
put to great use to help involve influencers, gain views, and awareness to help
boost the brand.
This is a student-concept for a Sheridan Pilon School of
Business Digital Marketing Course:
The main audience would be fashion forward men and women.
The main idea is to involve a popular celebrity who fits the brand image of
Clark’s, and would be able to promote and advocate for the product. Doing this
will allow for more brand awareness, engagement, and revenue increase.
The celebrity I had in mind, was
someone who is simple in fashion sense, a minimalist who is not very flashy
with their image yet someone that could be taken serious. Some that came to mind
were: Emma Watson, Matthew Mcconaughey, and Ryan Gosling.
The campaign would work as
follows: Create a #MyClarks hashtag, and involve Ryan telling his story wearing
Clarks, and how he is loyal to the brand.
